Frequently Asked Questions

Who can purchase a ticket?
Anyone who is at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to participate under applicable federal, state, and local laws may purchase a raffle ticket.

Do I have to be present to win?
No. Winners do not need to be present at any drawing to win.

Can I win more than one prize?
Yes. Winning an Early Bird drawing does not disqualify you from future drawings. All Early Bird winners will remain eligible for subsequent prize drawings, including the Grand Prize Chevy Silverado drawing.

How are winners selected?
All winners are selected through a random drawing from eligible raffle entries received by the applicable purchase deadline. Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the raffle.

How are winners notified?
Potential winners will be notified by telephone and email using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.

A POTENTIAL WINNER MUST RESPOND AND ACCEPT THE PRIZE WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, is determined to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, LAWFF may select an alternate winner through an additional random drawing.

Upon verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, LAWFF will coordinate prize fulfillment with the winner.

Are ticket purchases tax-deductible?
No. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible because they provide a chance to win a prize. However, any additional voluntary donation made to the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries Foundation beyond the ticket purchase may qualify as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.

What happens if I win an Early Bird prize?
If you win an Early Bird prize, your ticket will remain in the raffle and continue to be eligible for all remaining drawings, including future eligible Early Bird prizes and the Grand Prize Chevy Silverado drawing.

Why is the drawing held the day after the purchase deadline?
Ticket sales close at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time to allow LAWFF to verify all eligible entries, prepare the final ticket list, and conduct each drawing using the complete pool of eligible tickets.

Why should I purchase my ticket early?
Purchasing your ticket before an Early Bird Purchase Deadline automatically enters you into that Early Bird Drawing and every remaining eligible drawing, including the Grand Prize Drawing. Buying early gives you the maximum number of chances to win.

How many tickets can I purchase?
There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase, unless otherwise restricted by law.

Are raffle ticket sales limited?
No. Tickets will be available until the final sales deadline or until otherwise announced by LAWFF.

Can raffle tickets be transferred?
No. All raffle ticket purchases are final and non-transferable.

What happens if I win the Grand Prize?
Upon verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, LAWFF will coordinate prize fulfillment with the winner.

The winner will be assigned a Super Chevy Dealership based on their home address and provided contact information for a representative at the dealership who will facilitate the transaction.

Who pays taxes and registration?
Winners are responsible for applicable federal, state, and local taxes, title, registration, licensing, insurance, and any other ownership costs unless otherwise stated.

How will I receive my ticket?
