Frequently Asked Questions
Who can purchase a ticket?
Anyone who is at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to participate under applicable federal, state, and local laws may purchase a raffle ticket.
Do I have to be present to win?
No. Winners do not need to be present at any drawing to win.
How will winners be notified?
Winners will be contacted using the phone number and email address provided at the time of purchase. Winner information may also be announced on the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries Foundation's communication channels and on the raffle website.
Can I win more than one prize?
Yes. Winning an Early Bird drawing does not disqualify you from future drawings. All Early Bird winners will remain eligible for subsequent prize drawings, including the Grand Prize Chevy Silverado drawing.
How are winners selected?
All winners are selected through a random drawing from eligible raffle entries received by the applicable drawing deadline. Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the raffle.
Are ticket purchases tax-deductible?
No. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible because they provide a chance to win a prize. However, any additional voluntary donation made to the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries Foundation beyond the ticket purchase may qualify as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
What happens if I win an Early Bird prize?
If you win an Early Bird prize, your ticket will remain in the raffle and continue to be eligible for all remaining drawings, including future eligible Early Bird prizes and the Grand Prize Chevy Silverado drawing.
